Job Type: Full-time Pay: Starting pay is $24.00 an hour Shift: Day & Night Shift Available Paid: Weekly : The Entry-Level Maintenance Worker will perform basic repairs of equipment, welding of consumable items, repair and rebuild of pumps, preventative maintenance on equipment, and complete work orders directed by maintenance lead, supervisors, or managers. Supervisory Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 None. Duties/Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Cut, bend, and weld pipe and fittings according to drawings. \xc2\xb7 Perform daily walk through and communicate with production supervisors \xc2\xb7 Use upkeep to track daily activities and create work orders. \xc2\xb7 Repair of pumps including new motors, wiring, shafts, etc. \xc2\xb7 Effectively communicate needs of supply items. \xc2\xb7 Perform preventative maintenance according to schedule. \xc2\xb7 Complete work orders generated in upkeep and/or communicated by supervisors or managers. \xc2\xb7 Keep shop clean and organized. \xc2\xb7 Inspect and identify equipment or machines in need of repair. \xc2\xb7 Troubleshoot issues to determine necessary repairs. \xc2\xb7 Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include repairing basic electrical equipment, replacement of 3-phase motors. \xc2\xb7 Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: \xc2\xb7 Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance workers. \xc2\xb7 Ability to mig weld. \xc2\xb7 Ability to use hand tools and power tools. \xc2\xb7 Excellent organizational and time management skills. \xc2\xb7 Ability to work independently. Education and Experience: \xc2\xb7 High school diploma or equivalent required. \xc2\xb7 Related experience preferred. \xc2\xb7 On-the-job training offered. Physical Requirements: \xc2\xb7 Prolonged periods standing and walking. \xc2\xb7 Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces. \xc2\xb7 Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
