Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Under the direct supervision of a CAD manager, you will be trained to complete a wide variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

Create and modify detailed 2D and 3D CAD models for sheet metal parts, weldments, and assemblies. Translate customer prints, sketches, and specifications into shop-ready drawings. Generate specific files for fabrication equipment Collaborate with fabrication teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet project requirements Review and verify CAD output for compliance with project specifications and industry standards. Collaborate with project managers, sales, and internal teams to ensure project success. Assist with field measurements and contribute to process improvement initiatives. Maintain clear documentation of design changes and modifications. Provide exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders. Foster a safe, positive, and professional working environment.
Qualifications:

0 - 3 years of drafting experience using the latest version of AutoCAD Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office a plus Self-motivated, team player and eager to learn Good communication skills Ability to respond to urgent project needs outside regular hours when necessary
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
