Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Entry Level Woodworker/Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will assist with woodworking projects and perform maintenance tasks around the facility. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to develop their skills in carpentry, fabrication, and general maintenance within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Utilize hand tools and machinery to cut, shape, and assemble wood components for various products.
Install fixtures and components with precision to ensure high-quality finishes.
Collaborate with design teams to interpret specifications and create custom wood products.
Restore and repair wooden items as needed, maintaining the integrity of the original design.
Adhere to safety protocols while operating tools and equipment in the workshop.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote efficiency and safety.
Participate in quality control processes to ensure all products meet Vigilant's standards.
Clean and maintain break room, lobby, shop, and other facility area's as needed.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a woodworker or similar role, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
Proficiency in using hand tools and woodworking machinery effectively.
Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications accurately.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Basic knowledge of restoration techniques is a plus but not required.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
