We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Entry Level Team Members to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced food service environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the food industry, develop customer service skills, and learn about restaurant operations. Ideal candidates will be eager to contribute to a positive dining experience and grow within our company. Prior experience in food preparation, cashiering, or retail is a plus but not required; training will be provided. This position involves working in a quick service or fast food restaurant setting, focusing on delivering exceptional service and maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.
Responsibilities
Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards
Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring guest satisfaction
Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
Handle cashier duties including processing transactions accurately and managing cash register operations
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with health regulations
Assist with bussing tables, cleaning dining areas, and supporting other team members as needed
Follow food safety protocols including proper food handling, sanitation, and storage procedures
Support inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness
Work efficiently in a team environment while managing time effectively during busy periods
Requirements
Prior experience in food service, restaurant, grocery store, or retail environment is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
Basic math skills for cash handling, POS transactions, and retail math calculations
Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and good communication abilities
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures is a plus
Experience with food preparation, bussing, or serving roles is advantageous
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends or evenings if required; this position is ideal for those seeking entry-level opportunities in the food industry
Must be at least 16 years old or older depending on local regulations
