Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented

Entry-Level Tax Preparer

to join our growing accounting firm. The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of data entry related to W-2s, 1099s, and other tax documents (experience preferred but not required). This role is essential to supporting our firm's continued growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

Enter W-2s, 1099s, and other tax-related documents accurately into our tax software. Perform precise and efficient data entry to support timely tax preparation. Assist the tax preparation team by organizing and verifying client documentation. Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in handling sensitive financial data.

Qualifications

Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Knowledge of, but not required, data entry of W-2s, 1099s, and other basic tax documents. Comfortable working with tax preparation software is a plus. Ability to review and organize financial documents efficiently. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain confidentiality of client information. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Prior experience in an office, bookkeeping, or accounting environment is a plus but not required.
