We are a local company based in Venice, Florida that works hard to keep our office up to date with the latest dental technologies. We also support our staff to continue their education to provide you with the best care that dentistry has to offer.
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist dentists with various procedures and provide quality care to our patients. Also, it should be willing to support the front desk when it is required.

Experience:

Knowledge in Dentrix software preferable
Experience taking digital X-rays
Conversational English level to explain dental procedures
Knowledge of equipment and instruments used in dentistry.
Be familiar with appointment book
Maintenance and sterilization of work areas and equipment
Greet, check in and dissmis patients in a professional and friendly manner
Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using dental software (DENTRIX)
Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries regarding services, scheduling, billing, and insurance
Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits prior to appointments
Collect and record payments, co-pays, and balances due
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality (HIPAA compliance)
Coordinate with dental assistants, hygienists, and dentists to ensure smooth patient flow
Send appointment reminders and follow-up communications
Handle patient intake forms and update personal and medical information
Assist with billing and insurance claims processing as needed
