Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic Entry Level Bake Apprentice to join our bakery team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced food production environment, focusing on baking, pastry preparation, and customer service.

We are looking for a team member to train on packing as well as entry level bake related skills (shaping, baking, dishes, etc).

Must be comfortable with early hours

(shifts start as early as 3am) If you have ever wanted your foot in the door at baking this is your first step!

Duties

Assist in preparing and baking a variety of baked goods. Package baked items for retail purposes, ensuring quality standards are met Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work stations in compliance with food safety standards Handle food products safely, adhering to proper food handling procedures Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed

Skills

Basic knowledge of baking, pastry arts, or culinary experience preferred Familiarity with food safety and handling procedures in a commercial kitchen setting Reliability Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail Experience in food production, food preparation, or restaurant environments is advantageous Passion for the food industry with a desire to learn and grow within the culinary field

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 - 40.0 per week
