We now have offices in Dallas, San Antonio, and Houston, Texas, and our service capabilities include all aspects of electrical, instrumentation, and controls engineering design; industrial control system programming; and IT infrastructure design, networking, and consulting services. Our work primarily serves municipal water/wastewater utilities, state and local jails, detention/corrections facilities, as well as private clients.

: We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient recent graduate to join our team as an Entry-Level Control Systems Programmer. In this role, you will work with our team to develop and maintain industrial control systems software for water and wastewater treatment processes. Your primary focus will be on programming, configuring and commissioning programmable logic controllers (PLCs), human-machine interfaces (HMIs), and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems. You will gain knowledge of basic networking for both wired and wireless systems, cybersecurity best practices, and water/wasterwater process controls with the objective of ensuring efficient and reliable operation for our client\'s control systems.

Responsibilities include :

  • Development of detailed technical documentation such as engineering reports; shop drawings; HMI and PLC programming standards; operations and maintenance manuals; training manuals; and detailed test procedures.
  • Configuration, programming, debugging, and commissioning of HMI and PLC based industrial control systems to meet specific project requirements.
  • Network configuration and implementation of cybersecurity best practices for industrial control systems.
  • Document software design, programming changes, and system configurations.
  • Provide technical support and training to operations and maintenance personnel.
  • Stay updated on industry standards, trends, and advancements in control systems programming.
Job Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering or Computer Science required.
  • Must possess strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Access etc.).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment individually and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Certification as an Engineer in Training preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.
  • Must be available to work in our Dallas or San Antonio, TX office.
  • Must be able to legally work in the US without sponsorship.
