Qualities Necessary for Position:

willing to train teaching methodology and language acquisition pedagogy
, but a successful candidate must have a passion for teaching English, be patient and respectful of our students, and be willing to follow our curriculum and teaching practices.We are a positive school, eager to serve our community, and want like-minded teachers who understand and appreciate the diversity that is in the Salt Lake Valley.Part-time ( positions are available upon hire, and Full-time (40 hour) positions are available after first review (one semester).
Work Responsibilities:
Preparing 2-5 hour lessons Teaching 2-5 hour classes in either a private or group setting Grading student assignments and tests Submitting student grade reports
Education Requirements:
Teacher candidate must have minimum B.A. or B.S. four year degree from an accredited university of higher education. Individuals with ESL backgrounds or certificates are preferred, but other applicants are still considered.
If hired, we require a 4 month or 1 year contractual commitment. If you cannot commit to either of those amounts of time, please do not apply.
Student teachers currently enrolled in local universities are welcome to apply for an intern position
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
