Job Description

The Engineering Technician III / IV (depending on experience) works on a team performing maintenance and sustainment of Anti-Terrorism Force Protection (ATFP) equipment at DoD facilities worldwide. Work involves preventive and corrective maintenance of video surveillance cameras and related equipment, desktop computing systems and peripherals, cabling (including termination), rack-mounted equipment, networking and related equipment, access control equipment, and barrier systems.

Responsibilities and Duties

Perform scheduled preventive and unscheduled corrective maintenance on Anti-Terrorism Force Protection (ATFP) electronic equipment as applied to Emergency Operation Centers (EOCs), Regional Operation Centers (ROCs), Mass Notification Systems (MNS), Video Tele Conference (VTC) systems, remote operated video cameras, access card readers, Access Control equipment, and hydraulic Barrier systems.

Respond to trouble calls, conduct troubleshooting, repair and complete closeout reporting.

Qualifications and Skills

Must have or be able to obtain a Secret security clearance. No exceptions. Position requires a High School diploma and 3-10 years of related experience. Must be able to perform work on ladders and lifts, and be able to lift objects weighing up to 25 lbs. Work to be performed at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam. Travel to nearby bases will be required. Work may occur after normal duty hours depending on customer requirements. Applicants must successfully undergo a background investigation (National Agency Check). Experience with Anti-Terrorism Force Protection (ATFP) and hydraulic equipment is a plus. This position supports a U.S. Government Contract whose terms require Aegir to staff it only with U.S. Citizens. Military Veterans highly encouraged to apply.
