Our Development & Permits department is seeking an Engineering Technician I to provide technical and administrative support to the Engineering and Development Construction division.
A successful candidate for this position will be able to do the following:Can multi-task and handle several tasks at the same time.
Provide daily administrative functions supporting engineering and construction division.
Manage customers' requests including walk-ins, emails, phone calls and FOIAs (Freedom of Information Act.)
Have general computer knowledge and gain the ability to navigate City systems such as: Accela, Laserfiche, Outlook, GIS and other related applications.
Analyzes development plans and is able to respond to questions about designs.
Ability to research property records and development history.
