Job Description
This role leads sustaining engineering activities to maintain and enhance existing products. You'll manage a team, resolve technical challenges, and ensure product reliability and compliance.
Responsibilities for the Engineering Team Leader include:
- Lead and mentor a team of sustaining engineers and technical staff.
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for product issues.
- Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure reliability.
- Manage engineering change processes and documentation.
- Provide technical leadership in troubleshooting mechanical systems.
- Support cost reduction initiatives and component lifecycle management.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Lead a team focused on sustaining and improving existing products.Solve engineering challenges in mechanical and electromechanical systems.
A successful Engineering Team Leader should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 5+ years of technical engineering experience, preferably in sustaining or product support.
- Strong background in combustion or chiller systems.
- Proven troubleshooting skills for complex electro-mechanical systems.
- Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in CAD tools and engineering documentation systems.
- Competitive annual salary ranging from $120,000 to $130,000.
