Engineering Intern - Summer 2026
in Macedonia, OH.
Your main responsibilities
This student will be working with our Motion Systems and Aerospace Engineering Teams to assist with our electrification research and development. This position is a developmental position for students to gain an understanding of practical engineering concepts in all aspects of design, development, analysis, testing and technology validation process. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
High level of ethical integrity in relation to confidential information
Perform basic analysis based on engineering drawings and fundamental physical calculations
Conduct mechanical parts assembly and test setup
Execute component and system testing, perform test data postprocessing and present test results
Able to interpret time series data that comes from sensors, test benches, components to correlate them into test reports and actionable insights
Research and present the findings regarding engineering initiatives and customer requirements
We are looking for a talent with
Currently pursuing a Bachelors of Engineering degree from an accredited university or College (Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, Industrial engineering or other engineering disciplines)
Minimum Sophomore classification required
Experience in Mechanical design principles
Experience with simulation software such as FEA/Simulink would be a big plus
Hands-on capabilities to work on projects with little supervision
Strong communication skills
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
