is responsible for coordinating and supporting daily maintenance and repair operations within the Engineering Department. This position serves as the central communication point between the Engineering Office and on-site engineers, ensuring that all service requests and work orders are efficiently assigned, tracked, and completed on time.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, log, and prioritize service requests from guests and various hotel departments.
Dispatch work orders to appropriate engineering staff according to skill set and availability.
Monitor the status of ongoing maintenance and repair tasks, ensuring timely completion.
Maintain accurate records of service requests, completed work, and pending issues.
Communicate regularly with other departments to provide updates on maintenance progress or urgent repair needs.
Coordinate with vendors or contractors for specialized maintenance work when necessary.
Assist with administrative duties such as inventory management, report preparation, and preventive maintenance scheduling.
Support engineers by providing logistical and clerical assistance to ensure smooth communication and efficient workflow.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional administrative or technical training preferred.
Previous experience in hotel engineering or facility coordination is an advantage.
Strong communication and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office and maintenance management systems.
Ability to stay calm and organized in a fast-paced environment.
