Overview:
Performs a range of clerical and administrative functions that support the strategic operations of SDI's Engineering Department, including maintaining and organizing departmental records, managing data entry and retrieval, reviewing and verifying documents for accuracy, processing and tracking invoices, coordinating document control activities, and providing general administrative support to engineering staff.
Responsibilities:
Coordinates and schedules department meetings, audits, events, and room reservations
Assists with planning and organizing internal employee activities and departmental events
Maintains physical and digital filing systems, including data entry and ongoing records management
Manages purchase order requisitions for contracted services
Maintains office supplies, inventory, and general office organization
Sorts, distributes, and sends mail and packages
Provides general administrative support, including assisting visitors, running routine office errands, and preparing travel arrangements for department staff
Provides backup coverage for the Hot Mill Clerk
Performs other related duties as assigned
