Estuary Power is a developer and owner of utility scale energy generation, storage, and transmission projects. Based in Reno, Nevada, Estuary develops and owns some of most exciting and innovative projects in the western United States. Estuary's team includes accomplished executives from Bechtel, Chevron, Longroad Energy, and several private equity firms.

Estuary is seeking an Energy Project Finance Associate to be based in our Reno, Nevada office. This position will play a key role in sourcing, closing, and managing debt and tax equity for our projects.

The role will include the following responsibilities:

Update and maintain complex project finance models including construction loans, tax equity bridge loans, back-leverage loans, tax equity and related structures, and sponsor equity

Act as a project coordinator/manager for financing transactions

Participate in negotiation of term sheets and definitive financing documentation

Maintain company model and forecasts; evaluate project and company performance to forecast

Keep pulse on project finance and capital markets, incentives, and requirements

2 - 4 years of project finance or investment banking experience in renewable energy or similar capital intensive, asset finance-based industry

Experience with project finance structures including construction financing, term financing, partnership-flips, sale-leasebacks and inverted leases

Meticulous, diligent, detail oriented

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

Professional demeanor

Proactive, self-motivated, intellectually curious

Enthusiasm for lean, hands-on workplace environment and dynamic industry environment

Bachelor's Degree in a related field
