Our client, a highly respected law firm with a strong regional and national presence, is seeking an Energy and Natural Resources Transactional Associate Attorney to join their growing practice in Denver or Boulder, CO. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated matters in the energy and natural resources sector with direct client contact, mentorship from experienced partners, and a clear path for career development.
Responsibilities

• Represent clients in energy, natural resources, and environmental transactional matters, including project development, acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts related to energy projects, resource management, and land transactions.
• Conduct due diligence and provide counsel on regulatory compliance and risk management.
• Support partners in managing active caseloads and contribute to business development initiatives.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Licensed and in good standing with the Colorado Bar (or eligible for admission by motion).
• 3-5 years of transactional experience, ideally within energy, natural resources, or environmental law.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex matters simultaneously.
