Job Description

This associate role focuses on M&A and joint venture transactions across the energy and infrastructure spectrum, including renewables, oil & gas, and energy technology. The position offers opportunities to work with a wide variety of market participants in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

  • Advise clients on mergers and acquisitions within the energy and infrastructure sectors.
  • Draft and negotiate complex legal documents and contracts.
  • Provide strategic legal counsel to clients to address their business needs.
  • Conduct due diligence and identify potential risks in transactions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support client projects.
  • Stay current with industry trends and legal developments in energy and infrastructure.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent communication and service.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations in all transactions.

A successful applicant should have:
  • A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in mergers and acquisitions, particularly in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • A team-oriented mindset and strong interpersonal skills.

  • Competitive salary range of $260,000 to $390,000 USD. The level of pay within the range will depend on a variety of job-related factors that may include, but not limited to, qualifications, relevant experience or education, particular skills or expertise, geography.
