Job Title: Gastrointestinal (GI) / Endoscopy (Endo) Technician

Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (07:45 - 16:15)

Summary:

The GI/Endoscopy Technician assists physicians and nurses during endoscopic and other gastrointestinal procedures. This role involves preparing procedure rooms, ensuring proper functioning and sterilization of endoscopic equipment, assisting during procedures, and providing safe, compassionate care to patients before, during, and after their procedures.

Responsibilities:

Prepare procedure rooms with appropriate supplies, instruments, and equipment for scheduled endoscopic procedures. Assist physicians and nurses during diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures (e.g., EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, sigmoidoscopy). Handle, clean, disinfect, and sterilize endoscopes and related equipment according to infection control and manufacturer guidelines. Verify proper functioning of endoscopy equipment and troubleshoot minor technical issues. Maintain accurate logs for scope reprocessing, equipment maintenance, and supply inventory.

Requirements:

1 - Year experience Required, Completion of a certified

Endoscopy Technician

or

Surgical Technology

program preferred, BLS Certification, Trauma Level II Experience preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $32.00 - $36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
