Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced

Endoscopy/GI Lab Registered Nurse (RN)

for a 13-week contract opportunity in a high-acuity GI lab. This role requires strong circulating and teching skills, particularly for advanced GI procedures such as

EUS (Endoscopic Ultrasound)

and

ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography)

. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and committed to safe, high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Circulate and assist with advanced endoscopic procedures, including EUS and ERCP Prepare patients for procedures, monitor vital signs, and assist with sedation administration Support the gastroenterology team by maintaining a sterile environment and ensuring equipment readiness Collaborate with physicians and technicians to facilitate a safe and efficient workflow Provide thorough patient education and post-procedure care instructions Document all aspects of care accurately within the electronic health record Adhere strictly to infection prevention standards and hospital policies

Schedule & Call Requirements

Shift

: 4x10-hour day shifts per week

Call

: 1 weekday call per week Weekend call required every 4-5 weeks

Required Qualifications

Active

Registered Nurse (RN)

license, valid in Nebraska or compact state Current

BLS

and

ACLS

certifications (American Heart Association) Minimum of

2 years of Endo/GI Lab RN experience

Proficiency in circulating and teching for

EUS and ERCP procedures

Ability to respond to call in a timely manner

Preferred Qualifications

Previous travel nursing experience Experience working in a high-volume, procedural-focused GI Lab Familiarity with hospital-grade endoscopy equipment and documentation systems
