Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled researcher to join our dynamic research team for a 2-3-year research training at the Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism department at UAB with prospect of advancement in career to junior faculty. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in scientific research, with expertise in human clinical research and clinical trials. MD or MD,PhD preferred along with

permanent status or work permit

Duties

Conduct team based clinical research projects focusing on translational medicine

Experience

MD or MD, Ph.D. in a relevant field such as Medicine, Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism or related disciplines. Efficiency in recruiting enrollment and conduct of research studies using GCP Strong analytical skills with experience in bioinformatics tools and data analysis using R or similar programming languages. Demonstrated ability to conduct scientific research independently as well as part of a collaborative team. Proficient in GCP, CITI and Ethics for human research. Strong communication skills with patients and peers
