Responsibilities:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled

Clinical Team Member (EMT, CMA, LPN, or RN)

to join our

Urgent Care

team in

Urbandale, IA

. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced, walk-in medical setting. This role involves both clinical and administrative tasks to support providers and ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:



Perform patient intake including vital signs, medical histories, and documentation in EMR systems Administer medications and injections per provider orders and scope of practice Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection with proper labeling and handling Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments Maintain clinical equipment and exam room cleanliness and stocking Provide patient education and instructions as directed by provider Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory and safety standards Participate in quality improvement initiatives and team meetings Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to provide holistic care

Qualifications:

EMT Candidates:



Valid

EMT Certification

(State of Iowa or National Registry) Phlebotomy experience required Current BLS Certification (AHA or equivalent) Ability to obtain these prior to starting

CMA Candidates:



Graduate of an

accredited Medical Assisting program

Certified through one of the following: +

AAMA

(Certified Medical Assistant - CMA)
+

NHA

(Certified Clinical Medical Assistant - CCMA)
+

AMT

(Registered Medical Assistant - RMA)
+

NCCT

(National Certified Medical Assistant - NCMA)
Phlebotomy experience required Current BLS Certification

LPN or RN Candidates:



Current

Iowa LPN or RN license

in

good standing

Phlebotomy experience required Graduate of an accredited nursing program * Current BLS Certification
