Job Description

Provide individualized supportive services to program participants and homeless Veterans. The Employment Specialist will provide employment placement assistance to veterans who are experiencing homelessness and provide soft skills training to program participants. This is the perfect opportunity for an individual who has a strong desire to assist clients who are working to improve their skills by providing activities including remedial education, training in specific job skills and referral to vocational rehabilitation services. The area of service is Jefferson County.



Bachelor's degree required


Experience working with veterans preferred


Valid driver's license and good driving record required

Physical Requirements:

Requires the physical mobility to sit, stand, bend, and walk for moderate periods of time.

Travel Requirements:

Daily travel is required Must be willing to use and have your own personal transportation Mileage reimbursement for personal use of vehicle is included
