We're seeking a motivated Employment Services Coordinator to provide job preparation, placement, and retention services to clients in the Hudson County area. This role focuses on helping individuals access meaningful employment opportunities while meeting program and funding goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain an up-to-date employer job bank with diverse workforce opportunities. Build and sustain strong relationships with companies and workforce development centers to create employment opportunities for clients. Provide clients with job readiness training, including resume writing, interviewing, and job search skills. Utilize Department of Labor resources and represent the organization at local job and career fairs. Track and report client participation, placement activities, and outcomes as required by funders. Facilitate employment-related workshops and collaborate with internal departments to recruit and support clients.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Human Services, or Business Administration.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in recruitment, employment services, or a related leadership role.
Proven track record in employment services and demonstrated experience building relationships with companies that provide job opportunities. Strong expertise in career development. Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
