High school diploma or its equivalent required; Associates Degree/College preferred
Minimum of two years of experience in HR; administration of employee benefits; multi-state experience strongly preferred
Comfortable navigating through Employment Laws, FMLA, ADA, COBRA, ERISA, ACA, and other complex regulations
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and computer literacy required
Experience with HCM/HRIS systems strongly preferred.
Current Driver's License, reliable transportation, and provide ongoing valid and current auto liability insurance

What You Will Do
Maintains a high degree of confidentiality at all times due to access to sensitive information
Assist employees with benefit questions, claims resolution, liaison with carriers and outsourced Benefit Assistance Center
Assist with the maintenance of employee enrollment and contribution information in the Company's payroll system, and ensure the timely and accurate processing of additions, changes and terminations
Review and assist with the development of employee communications, new hire documents and compliance notices related to the benefit plans and other Heart to Heart HR related items
Process day to day data entries related to MVR requests, fleet vehicle assignments and process information in multiple systems including ADP for multiple agencies, ensuring timeliness, accuracy and compliance with our fleet policy
Work and support HR teams such as Fleet, Benefit and Payroll areas to ensure proper and accurate data reporting and projects
Provide assistance in forwarding applicants to applicable hiring managers
Assist with data upload files from outsourced vendor files
Follows and remains current on benefit related laws, regulations and requirements
Maintains regular, predictable, consistent attendance and is flexible to meet the needs of the department
Ensure overall compliance with local, state and federal laws, Medicare regulations, and established personnel policies and procedures
Performance of other duties as required
