Hourly Pay:

$24-$26/hr

Weekly Pay:

$900-$1,000/week

Emergency Room - Technician

for an exciting Travel or Local job in

Flushing, NY.

Responsibilities:

Perform basic patient care tasks, including assistance with activities of daily living. Obtain and document accurate vital signs. Perform phlebotomy procedures and collect blood specimens. Conduct EKGs and assist with telemetry monitoring for arrhythmia surveillance. Complete glucose monitoring via finger-stick testing. Support nursing staff with patient transport, positioning, and overall workflow. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment. Communicate patient concerns or status changes promptly to nursing staff. Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection prevention protocols.

Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of experience as an Emergency Department (ED) Technician -

Required

Phlebotomy experience -

Required

EKG/Arrhythmia certificate -

Required

Experience performing and interpreting EKGs Familiarity with telemetry monitoring Ability to perform glucose finger-stick testing

Preferred Qualifications:

Medical Technician certificate Nursing Attendant certification At least 1 year of experience as an EKG Technician, Nursing Attendant, or similar clinical role
