Riverside Medical Group is currently seeking a Labor Pool Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, Virginia.
Our Emergency Department team delivers lifesaving care, 24/7 and 365 days a year, in five emergency rooms across southeastern Virginia. This includes the region's only accredited Emergency and Trauma Center located at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News.
We are looking for an Emergency Room Physician who specializes in Critical Care Medicine and diagnoses and treats patients with critical illnesses or injuries, particularly trauma victims and patients with multiple organ dysfunction who require care over a period of hours, days, or weeks. Our Emergency Medicine Physicians must be able to work with their hands a lot, performing both simple procedures such as laceration repair or fracture reduction, and complex procedures such as endotracheal intubation, chest tube placement, and obtaining emergency vascular access.
The emergency rooms at Riverside Doctors' Hospital Williamsburg, Riverside Walter Reed Hospital in Gloucester and Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital on the Eastern Shore of Virginia are supported by the same team of over 500 medically distinguished providers across nearly every specialty that support the flagship, Riverside Emergency and Trauma Center.

Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine
Certification(s) and License(s)
Licensed Medical Doctor - State of Virginia
Board Certified or Board Eligible by [name of approved boards]
