Come join our team! We currently have full time and part time opportunities to be part of the Emergency Department based Behavioral Health Assessment & Referral Team.

This position is based at University of Chicago Hospital in Hyde Park in the Adult and Children's Comer Emergency Department. The Assessment & Referral Clinician will work collaboratively with attending physicians, the nursing team, and clinical treatment team members. The Assessment & Referral Clinician is responsible for initial assessments, the admission processes, and providing community resources. Additionally, the position assures compliance with all COBRA-related assessments and triage.

Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology or mental health/human services field is required. A minimum of two (2) years of experience in the evaluation and treatment of mental illness is preferred.

LSW, LPC or applicable license is preferred.

Work schedule: 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift hours available with rotating weekends.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
