We are looking for an (Sr.) Account Executive, Smart Energy to join our Global Sales Team.

About the Role
As the global energy sector accelerates toward digitalization and decarbonization, Tuxera is expanding its presence in the Smart Energy domain. We are seeking an experienced Embedded Account Executive with a strong understanding of energy market dynamics -- including smart grids, distributed energy storage, embedded IoT systems, and renewable integration.
This is a strategic sales role for a results-driven professional who combines technical insight into embedded systems with commercial acumen in the energy ecosystem. You will work with OEMs, utilities, grid technology providers, and energy-tech innovators to drive adoption of Tuxera's embedded software solutions in next-generation energy infrastructure.
What you do

  • Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy to expand Tuxera's presence in the smart energy and embedded systems segment.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities with OEMs, grid technology providers, and energy-sector partners.
  • Build trusted, long-term relationships with engineering, R&D, and procurement teams across the energy technology value chain.
  • Align customer requirements with Tuxera's embedded data management, networking, and storage solutions.
  • Collaborate with pre-sales engineers, product management, and technical experts to ensure successful solution integration.
  • Stay informed on smart grid, IoT, renewable, and distributed energy trends to guide strategy and anticipate customer needs.
  • Work with ecosystem partners -- including silicon vendors, automation providers, and industrial software companies -- to co-develop market approaches.
  • Represent Tuxera at key energy, sustainability, and embedded systems industry events.
What you Bring
You are a technically fluent sales professional who thrives on enabling innovation in sustainable energy systems. You understand how embedded software, data connectivity, and intelligent control shape the future of energy. You are equally comfortable discussing embedded architectures and market strategies -- turning technology value into customer impact.
  • Deep understanding of energy market dynamics: smart grids, IoT/embedded in energy, distributed energy storage, renewable integration.
  • Experience selling embedded software or industrial automation solutions.
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical capabilities into clear business outcomes.
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong consultative selling and negotiation skills.
  • Track record of driving growth and building strategic relationships in the energy or industrial technology sectors.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • High ethical standards, integrity, and adaptability in a fast-moving market.
