(EPS) is seeking an experienced and talented Embedded Software Engineer IV to contribute to our innovative technology company based in North Logan, Utah. At EPS, we supply Energy Storage Systems to Aerospace and Transportation applications, revolutionizing the way we power the skies and beyond.

Collaboration is at the heart of EPS, and you\'ll work closely with hardware and systems engineers, providing engineering support throughout testing, deployment, and updates. You\'ll serve as a senior subject matter expert, leading the planning, design, and modification of software engineering projects, while also developing innovative solutions to optimize processes.

In this role, you\'ll have the opportunity to showcase your expertise by developing and supporting battery management software, defining software requirements and architectures, and generating and validating software code. Your work will contribute to the documentation and validation required for FAA certification.

At EPS, we believe in continuous growth, and as an Embedded Software Engineer IV, you\'ll have the chance to mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support. Your analytical skills will shine as you analyze existing software, strategizing upgrades, features, or new platforms. To thrive in this role, you should have a strong foundation in C/C++ and experience with real-time, safety-critical embedded systems. Familiarity with ARM Cortex-M architecture, on-chip and external peripheral driver development, and bus protocols like CAN, ARINC429, ARINC825, SPI, I2C, and Ethernet is essential. Additionally, proficiency in software unit testing, debugging, and the use of development tools such as debuggers, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers is crucial.
