We are seeking a dedicated and passionate K-5 Classroom Teacher to foster a positive and engaging learning environment that supports the academic and social-emotional growth of all students. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong instructional practices, a commitment to continuous improvement, and a genuine care for students and their families.

Responsibilities

Maintain a positive classroom culture where every student feels welcomed, valued, and supported. Build strong relationships with students and families to promote academic and personal growth. Design and facilitate rigorous, student-centered instruction in literacy, math, and social-emotional learning aligned with the school's curriculum. Plan and deliver differentiated instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners, including students with special education services, multilingual learners, and advanced students. Facilitate whole-group, small-group, and individual learning experiences that are engaging and motivating. Assess and analyze student progress to inform instruction, interventions, and enrichment opportunities. Promote a caring, responsive, and safe classroom environment that reflects the school's values. Collaborate with colleagues through professional learning communities, coaching, and training to refine instructional practices and support student achievement. Communicate consistently with families through phone calls, events, and conferences to strengthen home-school partnerships. Be present and prepared each school day from 7:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.

Qualifications

New Jersey Teacher Certification or Certificate of Eligibility required Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred Minimum of two years of teaching experience preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong collaboration and teamwork abilities Reflective, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset Openness to feedback and commitment to professional growth * Dedication to excellence and persistence in the face of challenges
