Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated

Elementary Teacher

for our

Private Classical Christian school with a Charlotte Mason influence

. Our ideal educator will foster a love of learning through

hands-on, immersive education

while instilling

strong Christian character and Biblical values

in young learners. This position may start as early as the first week of November and last through the end of May.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and implement engaging lesson plans

that align with Classical Christian education principles.

Incorporate Charlotte Mason teaching methods

, including nature study, narration, and living books.

Teach integrity, character, and Biblical principles

, integrating

scripture into daily lessons

.

Utilize outdoor spaces

and hands-on activities to foster curiosity and wonder.

Encourage strong reading, writing, and critical thinking skills

in a nurturing environment.

Foster a structured, well-managed classroom

where students feel safe, engaged, and eager to learn.

Collaborate with fellow teachers and parents

to support each student's growth and success.

Jump in and support the team as needed

to create a thriving educational community.

Qualifications:

Teaching experience

with young children and strong classroom management skills.

Passion for Classical Christian education

and familiarity with Charlotte Mason methods.

Ability to integrate Biblical teachings and scripture

into daily lessons.

A heart for developing strong character and leadership

in young students.

Ability to work collaboratively

and adapt to the needs of the students and school.

Open to full-time, part-time, or subject-specific teaching opportunities.
