Compensation Rate: Up to $55 per hour, depending on experience

Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated

Elementary Teacher

to join a charter school in Wilmington, DE. The teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging instruction, creating a positive learning environment, and supporting students' growth academically and socially.

Responsibilities

Teach core subjects to elementary students Work effectively with students in an elementary and middle school placement as needed Develop and implement lesson plans that meet students' individual needs and district standards Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment Prepare and submit lesson plans or documentation as requested by the principal Encourage and maintain high standards of student behavior and achievement Keep accurate student records in compliance with state and school policies Collaborate with staff, administration, and parents to support student success Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (required, Education or related field preferred) Delaware Standard Teaching Certification (required) Strong classroom management and instructional skills Effective communication and collaboration abilities
