Job Description
Santa Fe Christian Schools is seeking a qualified, experienced Elementary School Teacher to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year.
Responsibilities of the Lower School Teacher
:
Develop and implement a curriculum and lesson plans that will foster knowledge and skills essential to teaching students in the Elementary grades effectively Create hands-on, inquiry-based, project-based lessons that build excitement Demonstrate concepts using models, technology, and other standard or teacher-prepared instructional aids Evaluate each student's progress in their knowledge and skills Communicate with parents to discuss the individual student's progress
Spiritual Requirements
Model a growing and vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ Demonstrate biblical maturity and serve as a Christian role model Maintains active participation in an evangelical church
Requirements of the Elementary School Teacher
:
Bachelor's and/or master's degree Multiple subject teaching credential Minimum of three years of self-contained classroom teaching experience at the Elementary School level Interest in contributing to the school community outside of the classroom as an athletic coach, student advisor, student club leader, or otherwise preferred Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
