Position Elementary Math Field Day Coach
Immediate Supervisor Director of Elementary Curriculum
Salary $30/hour
Employment Term Not to exceed 3 hours per week, with a full day for the scheduled Math Field Day competition
Supervises Students
Required Qualifications
+ WV Teaching Certificate for grades 4-5
+ Criminal Background check conducted pursuant to SCS BOE Policy IV-G-4.
+ Drug Test conducted pursuant to SCS BOE Policy IV-H-1
Job Responsibilities:+ Abide by the job description of Teacher. See the Teacher job description for a complete list of responsibilities.
+ Attend the regional Math Field Day competition and chaperone student participants.
+ Provide enrichment in mathematics skills related to the regional Math Field Day Competition
+ Make other preparations for the Math Field Day competition as assigned by the Director of Elementary Curriculum.
+ Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding scheduling and expectations.
