Inspire Academies is a public charter district comprised of community-based, residential, and partnership schools spread across nine Central and South Texas campuses and operated by the nonprofit BRAINATION, Inc, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas. Sherman Inspire Academy is the area's first free, public K-12 charter school. Our innovative inquiry learning model inspires students to pursue their interests and be curious about the world around them. Sherman Inspire Academy's groundbreaking design fosters rich learning experiences and meaningful collaborations with staff and peers to create a school full of wonder and joy.



Assists with classroom instruction as support to the teacher. Helps teachers in handling assignments, administrative records, and reports. Serves as a substitute when a teacher is out. Assists in keeping the classroom clean, neat and organized. Provides positive student behavior management support. Provides small group activities for differentiated instruction in the multi-grade level classroom. Implements support and individual student accommodations. Proactive in the maintenance of inventory, equipment, and instructional materials. Manages personal timesheet and abides by payroll procedures. Participate in required staff development, meetings, special events, and district sponsored activities. Perform other duties as assigned. High school diploma (or recognized equivalent) and Must meet one of the following - + Completion of at least two years or study at an institution of higher education (defined as completion of 48 semester hours);
+ Posses an associate (or higher degree); or
+ Completion of Paraprofessional academic assessment training
Educational Aide Certification (or willing to obtain) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Experience in an educational environment preferred. * Must have satisfactory outcome of fingerprinting check prior to starting employment. Non-refundable fee paid by employee.
