We're looking for a skilled hands-on technician who lives and breathes electronics repair. You'll spend your days troubleshooting, repairing, and improving the systems that keep our productions running -- from LED fixtures and control hardware to rack gear and power distribution.
If you know your way around a PCB, can solder anything cleanly, and like working in a shop that actually fixes things instead of replacing them, you'll fit right in.
What You'll Do
Diagnose and repair electronic equipment
-- power supplies, drivers, logic boards, control modules, and low-voltage circuits.
Perform board-level repairs
including component replacement, rework, and trace repair with high soldering standards.
Troubleshoot cable and interconnect issues
(signal loss, pinouts, intermittent faults) and build replacement assemblies.
Maintain parts inventory and vendor relationships
-- identify, order, and track repair parts and replacements.
Assist with QC and system testing
to ensure every piece of gear leaving the shop meets our reliability standards.
Create or update drafting and documentation
-- wiring diagrams, rack elevations, and product drawings using Vectorworks, AutoCAD, or similar.
Support product builds and rack fabrication
-- layout design, wiring, labeling, and final testing.
Collaborate across departments
to improve workflows, standardize wiring conventions, and document best practices.
What We're Looking For
Minimum
5 years of hands-on electronics repair experience
(production, integration, or electronics service environment).
Strong
diagnostic and troubleshooting ability
-- you understand how and why things fail, not just how to swap parts.
High-level soldering and rework skills
(through-hole and surface-mount).
Comfortable reading and creating
schematics, wiring diagrams, and system drawings.
Organized, proactive, and able to manage repairs, RMAs, and part orders independently.
Mechanically inclined and unafraid to get dirty
-- you'll be hands-on with racks, cables, and real-world gear, not just sitting at a bench.
Excellent communication and documentation habits.
Bonus Skills
Experience with entertainment control systems (DMX, Art-Net, Dante, or similar).
Familiarity with power distro, signal flow, and grounding best practices.
Vectorworks/AutoCAD proficiency.
Manufacturer or industry certifications (ETCP, CompTIA, etc.) are a plus.
Why You'll Like Working Here
Stable, full-time position in a well-equipped shop (no touring grind).
Autonomy to manage your own repair bench and improve systems.
A team that values smart problem solvers who take pride in their work.
Exposure to top-tier production gear and new product development projects.
