Job Description
Electro Standards Laboratories is seeking
skilled Electronics Component Assemblers
with experience inSurface Mount Technology (SMT)
andhand soldering
to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for detail-oriented professionals who take pride in producing high-quality electronic products that support U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) programs.Responsibilities:
Assemble and solder electronic and electrical devices to precise specifications. Perform
hand placement and soldering
of fine-pitch SMT components. Work toIPC-A-610 workmanship standards
for electronic assemblies. Operate and assist withPick & Place SMT assembly machines
(experience preferred but not required). Inspect and verify completed assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards. Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and maintain consistent quality.Qualifications:
U.S. Citizenship required
(due to DoD contract requirements). Proven experience inSurface Mount Technology assembly
. Strong hand soldering skills with fine-pitch SMT components. Familiarity withIPC-A-610 standards
. Mechanically inclined with excellent attention to detail. Prior experience operating Pick & Place SMT machines a plus.Benefits:
