Electrical Assembler

Responsibilities:

Assembles and wires equipment by following schematics and schedules, making sure to adhere to pre-set processes and quality standards Assembles Electrical control panels and subassemblies per shop order, blueprints, and schedule, making sure to follow pre-set processes and quality standards Utilizes hand tools such as wrenches, ratchets, pliers, screwdrivers, and clamps Operates power tools such as battery powered drills, saws, sanders, and grinders Operates overhead cranes and forklifts Uses measuring equipment frequently such as tape measures, torque wrenches, calipers, and levels Performs spot inspections throughout assembly process and final quality testing to ensure product is assembled properly and to the highest standard Troubleshoots and tracks project status Identifies and communicates any safety or quality issues with lead or immediate supervisor Maintains clean and safe work area, utilizing 5S practices whenever possible Assists shipping department with crating and loading of conveyors Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Education and Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Minimum of one year of electrical assembly experience in an industrial environment Basic computer skills Forklift and crane experience preferred

Skills and Abilities for this position

Ability to read and understand blueprints/drawings and/or specifications and electrical schematics Ability to read a ruler, tape measure, caliper, and level Knowledge of numbers and dimensions Proficient with the use of hand and power tools Ability to work as a member of a team and/or independently Quality and safety conscious Must be able to stand and walk for an entire shift Comply with all company policies and safety guidelines Must be able to work overtime as needed Ability to communicate effectively to multiple levels within the organization Ability to problem solve

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
