Ideal Candidate Profile:

Experience:

8+ years in industrial multi-craft maintenance within a manufacturing environment.

Skills:

Strong industrial electro-mechanical troubleshooting experience is essential. You should be adept at rebuilding mechanical devices such as bearings and gearboxes.

Versatility:

This role requires the ability to work across diverse systems and interpret blueprints and schematics effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance and repairs on various types of industrial equipment. Assist with new equipment installations and respond promptly to routine and emergency breakdowns. Diagnose and report faulty components and unusual conditions. Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance tasks. Maintain detailed records of maintenance work, including installation notes, repair times, and parts usage. Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and safe.

Preferred Qualifications:

Hands-on experience in industrial machine maintenance. Strong troubleshooting skills for industrial electrical and mechanical systems. Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and equipment diagrams. Experience with X-Ray, Metal Detector, Checkweigher, Scale troubleshooting, and setup. Familiarity with VFDs, PLCs, Barcode Scanners, and other electrical controls. Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems). Post-secondary education in a related field or 2+ years of relevant work experience (Maintenance, Electrical, Automotive, etc.). Welding and fabrication skills are a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word). Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

Work is conducted both indoors and outdoors throughout the year. Physically demanding tasks include lifting, climbing, kneeling, and twisting. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Flexibility in scheduling may be required to meet operational needs.
