Description Of Services

The Engineer will apply electrical, electronic, and mechanical principles to components and systems, supporting the design, test, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototype electromechanical systems. This role requires the technical ability to lead the development, design, qualification, installation, and improvements for the Machinery Control and Monitoring System hardware. Duties include leading design studies (e.g., root cause analysis, new design development), conducting laboratory testing, analyzing results, and assisting with developing integrated technical positions and recommendations for customer approval. The ideal candidate will resolve problems identified during equipment manufacture, installation, operation, and maintenance, and will assist in developing products and provisioning documentation, including maintaining technical manuals and drawings.

Skills/Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (electrical, mechanical, marine, nuclear, or chemical) from an ABET accredited program --

9+ years of relevant experience (7+ with Master's; 4+ with PhD) --

(Required)

Experience applying electrical, electronic, and mechanical principles to components and systems --

(Required)

Experience leading design studies, root cause analysis, and new design development --

(Required)

Experience conducting laboratory testing and analyzing results --

(Required)

Excellent verbal and technical writing skills --

(Required)

Knowledge of power, piping, and machinery design/analysis --

(Preferred)

Carrier or maritime systems knowledge --

(Preferred)

Pay: $61.66 - $70.17 per hour
