Journeyman Electrician

We are looking for an experienced Electrician in the Commercial HVAC industry. You could make between $20.00-$30.00 per hour!

We offer our electricians the convenience of dispatching from their homes with an assigned company van. A valid Driver\'s License is required.

Primary Job Function: HVAC electrician is responsible for installing and maintaining the electrical components in an HVAC system, including all electrical wiring and controls. These are mostly heating and air conditioning systems, but also include ventilation, or other climate-control systems. You will work at larger facilities, including office buildings, schools, hospitals and factories.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safety - Practice excellent safety procedures and holds fellow associates accountable for the same
• Understanding of complex electrical diagnostics
• Experience with industrial controls a plus
• Install and maintain electrical equipment to include control panels on HVAC/R equipment, motors, starters and relays
• Installs and repairs electrical circuits in buildings
• Install breaker panels and replaces circuit breakers in electrical panels

Required EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Journeyman Electrician Certification required.
• 5 years related experience; or 6 years related education and experience combined
• HVAC Installation experience preferred
• Computer skills, up to an inclusive of Word, Excel and Outlook
• Excellent written/oral communication skills
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field

Certifications

• Valid Driver\'s License
• Journeyman Electrician Certification
• Preferred Licenses: HVAC Journeyman, Boiler Operator, Electrical, Plumbers, or Gas Installer
