Electrical-Mechanical Assembler

Position Overview:
Imagine working on a clean, steady-paced production floor where no two days are exactly alike. As an Electrical-Mechanical Assembler, you will play an important role in assembling the company's spring reel product line - equipment that powers cranes, industrial machinery, and material handling systems used across the globe.
This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and attention to detail. You will assemble both electrical and mechanical components, read and interpret blueprints, test wiring systems, and ensure every finished product meets the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble mechanical and electrical components according to blueprints, diagrams, and specifications
Perform electrical installations and connect color-coded wires
Test and adjust assemblies to ensure functionality and safety
Operate tools such as cut-off saws, drill presses, and hand tools to complete builds
Inspect and verify accuracy of completed assemblies, communicating any needed corrections to engineering
Collaborate with production, engineering, and sales teams to resolve design or process issues
Support continuous improvement by contributing ideas that improve efficiency, safety, and quality
Uphold company policies and support quality, 5S, and EHS initiatives
Participate in training and professional development to enhance skills and maintain certifications
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred
Two to five years of hands-on electrical or mechanical assembly experience preferred
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measurement devices for precision assembly
Soldering experience helpful but not required
Basic understanding of electrical testing and quality checks
Familiarity with ERP or SAP systems preferred
Forklift and overhead crane certification required (training provided)
