$30.00 - $35.10 Per hour

Geologics is seeking an Electrical/Electronic Technician in

Minneapolis, MN

experienced electrical/electronic technician to work in its Electrical Engineering Lab. This position will support complex product and support equipment; design, development, fabrication, assembly, test, inspection, troubleshooting, rework and repair.

Minimum Qualification

s:2 year technical degree with a minimum of 2 years as a technician performing related tasks, either in a production or prototype environment Proficient use of electronic test equipment, machine tools and hand tools.

Specific skills include:Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and sketches Precision and fine motor skills required for micro/nano scale fabrication, assembly, test with near zero defects. Must be able to demonstrate high degree of mechanical aptitude. J-STD-001 or have knowledge of these requirements. Conduct tests using electronics test equipment (ie. Scopes, meters, etc) and generate test report data. Able to work as part of a group or team. Maintain a safe work environment and ensures compliance with safety objectives and policies.

Preferred:

Proficient Ability to communicate feedback to the team to support design, fabrication and test improvements. Cirris and/or Automated Test Equipment operator experience Troubleshooting of electronic, electrical systems Trained and proficient in manufacturing & quality requirements of IPC/WHMA-A-620 Class 3, IPC-610 Class 3 and J-STD-001 or have knowledge of these requirements
