Job Summary

Halo Technical Solutions Global is seeking a detail oriented and safety focused

Electrical QC Inspector

to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will ensure that all electrical installations and systems meet applicable codes, standards, and project specifications while maintaining the highest level of safety awareness on site. This role requires strong technical knowledge, the ability to interpret electrical drawings, and a proactive commitment to upholding both quality and safety across the job site.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct detailed inspections of electrical systems and installations on active construction sites. Review blueprints, schematics, and contract documents to verify compliance with design and specification requirements. Perform quality control checks on electrical components and systems, identifying and reporting defects or non-conformance. Record and analyze inspection data for project quality reporting and documentation. Collaborate closely with contractors and site teams to resolve discrepancies found during inspections. Ensure timely and accurate documentation of all inspections, findings, and corrective actions. Provide guidance and feedback on electrical best practices to uphold safety and compliance standards. Lead by example by actively promoting job site safety culture, ensuring all activities adhere to site specific safety plans, procedures, and regulations.

Requirements

Proven experience in construction inspection focused on electrical systems. Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations (NEC, NFPA, and local codes). Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and schematics. Demonstrated commitment to jobsite safety and self-awareness in all work activities. Safety is the foundation of this role. Familiarity with site safety procedures, PPE requirements, and lockout/tagout practices. Experience with construction quality control processes and documentation practices. Ability to effectively collect and analyze field data for quality reporting. Excellent communication and collaboration skills for coordination with contractors and field teams. Detail oriented with strong problem solving and analytical skills. Valid and current Journeyman Electrician License (required).

certification (required).

NFPA 70E

Electrical Safety certification (required).

Employer Identification Number (EIN)

(required prior to site mobilization).

Certificate of Insurance (COI)

(required prior to site mobilization). Note: An EIN and COI are required before mobilizing to the jobsite; however, if you don't already have these items, don't let that stop you from applying. We can guide you through the process and provide resources to help you get set up if you meet the qualifications for this role.

Compensation & Details

Job Type: Full-Time (1099 Contract) - 60 hours per week


Pay: $16,000 - $17,000 per month


Work Location: Sparks, NV
