Job Description

We're looking for a hands?on, detail?driven Electrical/Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building complex systems, troubleshooting equipment, and working across electrical, mechanical, and industrial automation technologies. You'll assemble, wire, test, and support machinery that integrates PLCs, HMIs, motion systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and industrial electronics.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble and wire electrical and mechanical components for industrial machinery and automation systems Install and integrate PLCs, HMIs, drives, sensors, and other control hardware Build and route wiring harnesses, control panels, and machine?level electrical systems Install and troubleshoot industrial electronics including VFDs, photo?eyes, proximity sensors, and safety devices Assemble mechanical systems including frames, actuators, bearings, gearboxes, and motion components Install and maintain pneumatic and hydraulic components (valves, cylinders, regulators, pumps, hoses) Perform system testing, calibration, and functional verification Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and assembly documentation Diagnose and resolve issues during build, startup, and field support Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure successful machine builds

Required Skills & Experiences

3+ years of experience in electrical/mechanical assembly or industrial equipment manufacturing Strong understanding of PLCs and HMI hardware (Allen?Bradley, Siemens, or similar) Experience with industrial electronics: VFDs, servo drives, photo?eyes, sensors, relays, and safety circuits Mechanical assembly experience with industrial machinery or automation systems Working knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and electrical test equipment Strong troubleshooting and problem?solving skills
