Job Description


Our client, a large heavy industrial manufacturing plant, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor with strong Electrician and Electrical background to join their team. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be part of the Maintenance Team supporting the plant. The ideal candidate will have strong project management, troubleshooting and supervisory skills which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Supervisor
Location: Metro Portland, OR
Pay: $100,000-$110,000 base salary plus bonuses, benefits, relocation

Key Responsibilities

  • 50% supervising and training electricians on electrical projects and preventive maintenance of equipment and machinery
  • 50% hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment (low-high voltage)
  • Project management for upgrades, electrical installations, construction, plant control and automation systems and other projects
  • Perform routine up to complex PLC programming and can program HMI\xe2\x80\x99s (Allen-Bradley)
  • Maintain and manage prints, drawings, documentations and reporting for the area
Requirements
  • Oregon Journeyman Electrician License or a state with reciprocity to OR
  • Associate\xe2\x80\x99s degree and/or equivalent experience and 5+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in industrial engineering environment
  • Experience with Allen-Bradley (AB) PLC\xe2\x80\x99s and HMIs and/or other automation control systems
  • Strong Electrician or electrical background in low to high voltage systems
  • 2+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in an informal or formal leadership role
