Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in 2-5 years electrical work, with expertise in both commercial and industrial settings. This role involves a variety of tasks including renovation projects, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems. The Journeyperson will be responsible for ensuring that all work is completed safely and in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC).

Duties

Perform renovations and installations of electrical systems in residential and commercial environments. Utilize hand tools and equipment, including voltmeters, to troubleshoot and repair electrical issues. Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications and requirements. Work with low voltage systems and logic controllers to ensure proper functionality. Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently and effectively. Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to all safety protocols.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Electrician or Commercial Electrician. Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical drawings. Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety standards. Experience working with hand tools, voltmeters, low voltage systems, and logic controllers. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team on various projects. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
