Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Estimator / Project Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing electrical projects from estimation through to completion, ensuring that all work is performed efficiently and meets the highest standards. Your expertise in construction estimating and project management will be essential in delivering successful outcomes for our clients.

Duties

Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical projects using software such as Bluebeam, Procore, and/or HeavyBid. Conduct negotiations with clients and subcontractors to finalize contracts and pricing. Oversee project management activities, ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant regulations. Collaborate with construction teams on-site to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure adherence to project timelines. Implement cost control measures to maintain budgetary constraints throughout the project lifecycle. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers to facilitate effective communication and collaboration. Prepare reports on project status, including financial performance and resource allocation.

Qualifications

Proof of past takeoffs that have been awarded. Proven experience in electrical estimating and project management within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of construction estimating principles, contracts, and cost control methodologies. Familiarity with electrical systems and components, along with hands-on construction site experience. Proficiency in using estimating software such as Bluebeam, Procore and/or HeavyBid is highly desirable. Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders. Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Pay: $37.50 - $45.00 per hour
