Electrical Engineering & Computer Science / Patent Agent - Atlanta, GA
Our AmLaw 100 client is seeking mid-level patent agents to join their Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Patent Prosecution Practice Group. Interested candidates must possess a high level of academic achievement, solid law firm, engineering, or industry experience, and superb writing and communication skills.
Ideal candidates will possess at least 3 years of relevant experience in patent preparation and prosecution and hold a degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, software engineering, computer science, or physics.
Preferred experience:

  • Patent prosecution in either electrical engineering or software-related technologies, including:
  • machine learning/artificial intelligence/neural networks; and/or
  • radio frequency (RF) circuitry; and/or
  • hardware and/or communications security (e.g., encryption/decryption).
Admission to the USPTO is required.

Compensation: Salary will range between $110,000 - $190,000 annually, depending on experience. A discretionary bonus may also be available based on performance.
